In his 15 years of Quality Management experience, Jake has practiced in a variety of disciplines including Design and Development, Manufacturing, Supplier Relationship, Management System oversight and Feedback/Regulatory processes. Having held roles as a Quality Engineer, Principal Design Quality Lead, Supplier Quality Engineer, Sr. Quality Engineer and Quality Management Representative, Jake’s background and experience spans across market and industry boundaries from consumer focused, to ISO associated programs to IATF, ISO 13485 and FDA CFR 820.
Some of Jakes major projects include: large organization process remediation, Global ISO 9001:2015 preparedness, complete QMS restructuring and deployment, Quality Software build and deployment, and formal build of Global Supplier Relationship Management Program. As a certified Kaizen Leader and certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Jake is an active promoter of Continuous Improvement: A passion which engages the greatest asset in effectiveness and efficiency—the stakeholder(s).
Jake is a veteran of the United States Air Force (1999-2003) where he served as an Aircraft Electrical/Environmental Systems Specialist. Jake holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Kent State University and holds an MBA in Executive Management from Ashland University. Jake also carries Lead Auditor certifications for ISO 13485, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and FDA CFR 820. In his current role with PolyOne Corporation, Jake is responsible for Corporate Quality Oversight, Supplier Quality Leadership, QMS Software Systems Leader, Internal Audit Program Leader, and Management Representative. He lives in Amherst, OH with his wife, Sarah, and four children, Emma, Jonathan, Olivia and Nicholas.
